Susan Delaney is the Owner, Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Delaney Safety LLC.
Susan has over 15 years of experience working in Construction Program/Project Management consulting with the majority in safety, and safety and security, and understands and is familiar with Cal/OSHA standards.
Susan holds both a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a Master in Business Administration (MBA).
She also holds OSHA certifications and has sat on the Board as President for the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF SAFETY PROFESSIONALS (ASSP), Sacramento Chapter.
Professional accolades include being awarded a scholarship for her MBA program, an award for writing and producing a Site-Specific Safety Plan for a large civil project for a San Francisco Bay Area General Contractor, and co-leading and facilitating a General Contractor to Cal/OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (Cal/VPP) status.
Business Associations include the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF SAFETY PROFESSIONALS (ASSP).
Technical Proficiencies include ISMS (Integrated Safety Management System); Primavera; CMIS (Construction Management Information System); Microsoft Products; Google Products; ISNetworld; and other incident reporting, field auditing, and security systems programs.
Susan is highly experienced working with C-Suite teams, working one-on-one and in a team with executive leadership in California agencies, embodies professional presentation experience with small and large audiences including training over 200 employees for one agency alone, has developed extensive safety training presentations for small and large groups, and has written and produced multiple Site-Specific Safety Plans, Safety Policies, and Safety Programs.
Susan is also an active member of her community.
